ANNAPOLIS, Md. –– Two men's tennis teams with undefeated Patriot League records will meet Saturday in West Point, N.Y., when Navy (5-0, 3-0) plays at Army (7-1, 4-0), in the annual Star Match, part of the Star Series presented by USAA, between the programs. The 1 p.m. match will be the regular season finale for each team and determine the top seed in next week's league tournament.

Navy Update
Navy earned a 7-0 victory over Bucknell Saturday in Lewisburg, Pa. The Mids trailed in each of the three doubles matches and won a trio of three-set singles matches.
Navy's Patriot League wins this season have come against Loyola (7-0), Lehigh (5-2) and the Bison.
Army Update
Army has won each of its last five matches, a span that includes victories over four Patriot League foes. The Black Knights have defeated Holy Cross (7-0), Lafayette (5-0), Boston U. (4-0) and Lehigh (4-2) in league duals.
Series History
Navy leads the overall series with Army, 66-38. This includes a 26-19 advantage when the match is played in West Point. The Mids also lead the Black Knights in Star Matches. The overall Star Match series stands at 53-30 in favor of Navy, with the count being 24-17 in favor of the Mids in matches played at Army.
Navy has won each of the last four and seven of the last nine matches in the series. The Mids also have won each of the last four Star Matches.
Saturday's match will be the first between the teams since the 2019 spring campaign. Navy defeated Army twice that season in West Point, winning 4-0 in the Star Match and 4-3 in the championship match of the Patriot League Tournament. Those matches marked the eighth season in a row and the 12th time in 13 years in which the teams met in both the regular season and the league tournament.
Five Navy players have faced Army before. Leading the way is
Andrew Ton (Sr., Milpitas, Calif.) with records of 3-1-0 in doubles and 3-0-1 in singles. Each of his three singles matches that have been played to completion have been extended to three sets.
Only two current Army players have played a match against Navy.
