ANNAPOLIS, Md. –– Naval Academy graduates Brad Snyder and Eric McElvenny will compete in the triathlon at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, this weekend. The session of triathlon events will begin Friday at 5:30 p.m. Eastern time (Saturday at 6:30 a.m. in Tokyo) and air live on The Olympic Channel during the network's coverage of the day's events.
Snyder and McElvenny, both members of the Class of 2006, are joined in Tokyo by USA Paralympic Triathlon head coach Mark Sortino, who graduated from Navy in 1990. Snyder was a member of the swimming team at Navy and McElvenny was on the rugby team.
