Jake Fishkin (Sr., Baltimore, Md.) paced the team this fall with an 8-2 record in singles. Five additional Mids recorded seven victories, with
Jack Dabek's (Sr., Dublin, Ohio) 7-2 record giving him the best winning percentage of that group. Dabek led Navy with an 8-3 record in doubles this fall.
Finn Garner (Jr., Arnold, Md.), with a 6-2 record, and
Derrick Thompson (Sr., Towson, Md.), with a 6-5 mark, tied for second on the team for doubles wins recorded during the tournament portion of the season.
Saint Francis U.
The Red Flash will be opening their season Saturday against the Mids. Saint Francis U. posted a 4-14 record during the 2020-21 season. The team finished Northeast Conference play with a 1-3 record.
Navy and Saint Francis U. last met at the start of the 2018 spring campaign. The Mids have put together a 7-1 record against the Red Flash, with the lone Saint Francis U. victory since the series began in 2011 coming by a 4-3 decision in 2016.
St. Bonaventure
The Bonnies will begin their season Friday with a match at Loyola. Last season saw the team post a 4-6 record, an overall mark that included a pair of defeats to Atlantic 10 Conference opponents.
Navy leads the all-time series with St. Bonaventure by a 7-1 count. The Bonnies posted a 4-3 victory over the Mids in the inaugural 2001 match in the series. The teams had met annually from 2014-20 until the series was interrupted last year.
