Trio of Road Matches Ahead for Navy Squash

After playing 11 matches over a 10-day span, the 25th-ranked Navy squash team (10-1) will play another three over the next four days. The Mids kick off road play on Wednesday evening with a pivotal Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference matchup against #28 Dickinson beginning at 5:30 pm. Navy will then play a pair of matches at the home site of Wesleyan in Connecticut where it will take on #32 Connecticut College on Friday at 7:00 pm before closing out the two-day trip with a 12-noon match against host Wesleyan, who is ranked 27th.

Navy will serve as the season-opener for both Connecticut College and Wesleyan, while Denison dropped back-to-back 9-0 decisions to #16 Franklin & Marshall and #2 Penn last weekend to open its season 0-2.

Weekly Rewind
• Eight of Navy's 9 players went undefeated last weekend in team victory over #31 Fordham (8-1), Boston University (6-1), #30 Denison (9-0), Bucknell (8-0) and Georgetown (8-1)
• Matt Wang, Lucas Spiro, Alexander Orr, Tighe Mullarkey and Ben Balser paced the team with 5-0 marks.
• Team captain Millen Randell, Henry Sparkman and Tommy Rankin were 4-0, while newcomer Shankar Jambunathan finished the weekend with a 2-3 record.
• Rookies Alexander Orr and Tighe Mullarkey are atop the wins leader board for the Mids, as both players have produced 9-1 records to date.

About the Opponents
• Navy has seen success against all three of its opponents this week, posting a combined 51-2 record.
• Navy owns an 11-1 record against Dickinson in a series that first began in 1961. The Mids and Red Devils played four times between 1961-64 before picking up the series once again in 2014.
• Dickinson defeated the Mids for the first time in series history last year by a 5-4 count at the MASC Championship
• In a series that began in 1997, Navy owns a 13-0 mark against Connecticut College.
• The Mids and Camels, however, last met on Nov. 22, 2013 when Navy scored a 9-0 sweep in New London, Conn.
• Navy and Wesleyan have met on 28 previous occasions dating back to 1950 with the Mids holding a 27-1 advantage.
• The last time the two programs played was on Jan. 28, 2018, when Navy earned a 9-0 victory at Wesleyan.

What's Ahead
• Navy will step aside for the Thanksgiving break before returning to the courts Dec. 2-4.
