BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Everet Andrew (So., Wilmette, Ill.) from the Navy men's swimming and diving team has been selected as this week's Patriot League Swimmer of the Week.

Andrew garnered the accolade on Tuesday for his efforts during the Bison Invitational in Lewisburg, Pa.  The non-scoring meet featured the Mids, meet-host Bucknell, American, Lafayette, Lehigh, Shippensburg and UMBC.
 
He began the meet by winning the 500 freestyle in a time of 4:31.08, which provided him a two-second margin of victory.  Andrew went on to also win the 50 freestyle in a time of 20.46.  He won the latter race by one-quarter of a second.

Navy will begin the championship portion of its season Feb. 15-18 when it vies for the Patriot League Championship.
