Last Time Out
• Navy overcame playing a man down last weekend due to injury to secure wins in two of its three matches played on the road ... the Mids opened the weekend with a 5-4 victory over #23 St. Lawrence (4-4), followed by a 7-2 neutral site win against Brown (1-7), the top-ranked club team in squash ... Navy closed out the weekend dropping a 7-2 decision to #17 Hobart (3-5)
• Six of Navy's eight players this weekend won two of their three matches, including Matt Wang who went 3-0 at the #1 position on the ladder ... Wang swept his St. Lawrence and Brown foes, but needed five games to knock off Hobart's Hussein Labib (6-11, 11-9, 12-10, 4-11, 11-5)
• Wang is now just one win shy of reaching 50 for his career
• Five other players put together 2-1 marks for the weekend. Team captain Henry Sparkman, Lucas Spiro, Alexander Orr and Tighe Mullarkey defeated their St. Lawrence and Brown foes, while Ramsay Killinger also recorded a 2-1 record, defeating his Brown and Hobart opponents
• Orr and Killinger lead the Mids with 11 wins apiece ... Orr picked up his 11th win of the year in spectacular fashion, taking down Brown's Will McLaren in five games (11-13, 11-5, 11-6, 12-14, 11-4) ... Orr also eclipsed the 20-win mark for his young career over the weekend as he now stands 21-7 ... Killinger, meanwhile, joined Wang as the only two Navy players to earn wins over Hobart and in doing so Killinger scored his 11th win of the year (Matthew Aldana // 11-9, 6-11, 15-13, 3-11, 11-7)
