The 20th-ranked Navy squash team opened the week with a 9-0 road win over Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference foe Dickinson Wednesday evening at the Kline Center in Carlisle, Pa. The Mids kept their unbeaten streak intact as they improved to 8-0 on the year, while the 28th-ranked Red Devils dropped their first match of the season (2-1). 

Match Highlights
• Matt Wang (Sr / Malvern, Pa.), Navy's #1 player on the ladder, earned his 60th-career victory by way of his 3-0 win over William Krizek. Wang is among just 24 players in program history to reach the 60-win milestone and the first since Michael Kacergis (65-36) and Owen Davis (60-36) reached the mark in 2020.
• Team captain Lucas Spiro (Sr / Buffalo, N.Y.) captured his 50th-career win in dramatic fashion Wednesday evening. After falling behind 2-0, Spiro rallied to win the final three games against Aidan Ray at the #5 position to earn the 3-2 win. He capped the victory with an 11-0 win in the fifth.
• Alexander Orr (So / Haverford, Pa.) picked up a 3-0 win over Dickinson's Noah George and is now just four wins shy of joining Wang and Spiro with 50-plus wins.
• Outside of Spiro's five-gamer, Navy won its eight other matches by 3-0 scores.
• Navy's freshmen continue to flourish, as Wenqing Tang (Villanova, Pa.), Michael Tierney Jr. (Berwyn, Pa.) and Hudson Poirier (Wellesley, Mass.) all earned wins Wednesday. Additionally, Eli Levy (Williamstown, Pa.) is just outside of the ladder and gained valuable playing time defeating Fabrizio Nunez Ortiz in an exhibition match.

What's Ahead
• Navy will be back in action Saturday (1:00 pm) when it makes the trip to New Jersey to battle #3 Princeton (0-0) in what will be the first match played at the newly-opened Racquet and Recreation Center in Princeton's Meadows Neighborhood. 
• The Mids close out the week at home where they will play host to #22 St. Lawrence (0-0) on Sunday (11:00 am) at the Prager Family Squash Facility.
