ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's tennis team will look to start another winning streak as it will play two matches Friday and two more Saturday. The Mids (14-4) will play Friday matches at No. 32 Delaware (7-0) at noon and at home against Coppin State (0-6) at 5 p.m. Navy then will play Saturday at James Madison (4-5) at noon and play host to Drexel (6-3) at 1 p.m.
Navy's two home matches will be played in the Tose Family Tennis Center. The Navy-Delaware match will be played at the Elkton Tennis Center in Elkton, Md. The Mids will face James Madison at the school's Hillsdale Courts if weather permits the matches to be contested outdoors or the East Campus Tennis Courts if play is moved indoors.

Navy (14-4)
The Mids ran their winning streak to six matches in a row with wins Saturday in Annapolis against Morgan State (6-1) and Hofstra (4-3). Navy then traveled to Chicago on Sunday where the streak ended with 5-2 losses to Western Michigan and DePaul.
Individually,
Tommy Kim,
Nathan Nguyen and
Sasha Panyan have each posted 7-2 records in singles this season. Kim also has compiled a 7-2 record in doubles.
Delaware (7-0)
The Blue Hens are ranked 32nd nationally in this week's ITA computer tabulation. Delaware's victories this season include wins over Bucknell (6-1), Villanova (4-0) and current No. 42 Penn (4-3).
Delaware finished the 2023 campaign with an overall record of 16-9 and a Colonial (now Coastal) Athletic Association regular season with a mark of 3-4. The sixth-seeded Blue Hens lost in the quarterfinal round of the CAA Tournament.
Navy has won 14 of the previous 15 matches it has played against Delaware. The one loss by the Mids occurred last season when the Blue Hens won a 7-0 decision in Annapolis.
Coppin State (0-5)
The Eagles are slated to play Thursday at the University of the District of Columbia prior to facing the Mids on Friday. Coppin State has dropped matches to Lehigh (7-1), Fairleigh Dickinson (5-1) and Georgetown (6-0) this season.
Coppin State ended 2023 with a 1-14 overall record and a 0-5 record against Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference foes.
Navy has won all 11 prior matches in the series with Coppin State. This includes a 6-1 victory last season.
James Madison (4-5)
Among the results for the Dukes this season have been a loss to Virginia (7-0) and a win over George Mason (4-3).
James Madison posted a 12-10 record a year ago and tallied a 3-5 record against Sun Belt Conference opponents. The team was seeded seventh in the conference tournament and lost in the quarterfinal round of the event.
Navy holds a 6-4 lead in the all-time series between the teams, but James Madison has won the last three matches in 2019 (5-1), 2022 (5-2) and 2023 (7-0). The 2022 and '23 matches were played in Harrisonburg.
Drexel (6-3)
The Dragons have posted victories this year over Villanova (6-1), Mount St. Mary's (7-0) and Hofstra (5-2) and lost matches to Lehigh (4-3) and NJIT (4-3).
Drexel compiled a 10-11 record in 2023 and finished CAA play with a 3-1 record. The fourth-seeded Dragons won their quarterfinal round match in the CAA Tournament before losing to top-seeded UNCW in the semifinals.
Navy leads the series with Drexel by the count of 9-2. The Dragons defeated the Mids, 6-1, last season in Philadelphia.
