Navy-Johns Hopkins Series
• Friday night's contest marks the 93rd meeting between Navy and Johns Hopkins and the 36th in Baltimore.
• The Blue Jays have dominated the series, holding a 63-28-1 advantage. They owned an amazing 36-game winning streak over the Mids that began in 1975 and was snapped in 2010, when Navy earned a 9-8 overtime win in Annapolis.
• Johns Hopkins leads the series in games played on its home field, 28-8. The Blue Jays had won 22-consecutive games against Navy at Homewood Field (dated back to May 10, 1969) before the Mids upset JHU 11-10 on March 17, 2023 which was the last time the two met at Homewood Field.
Max Hewitt (Sr / M) scored a career-high 4 goals, including the game-tying and game-winning targets just 49 seconds apart in the come-from-behind win. Navy outscored Johns Hopkins 4-3 in the final frame, holding the Blue Jays scoreless over the final six minutes
• That win also marked just the third victory by the Mids in the series overall since 1975 (9-8 OT in 2010 / 8-2 in 2012).
• 3 of Navy's last 4 wins in the series have come in Annapolis - 8-2 on 4.21.12 // 9-8 OT on 4.24.10 // 13-12 on 5.4.74.
• Ten of the last 21 games between Navy and Johns Hopkins have been decided by 1 goal, including the last time the two met in Baltimore. Additionally, 5 of those 10 one-goal games have gone into extra minutes.

Historic Series
• One of the oldest programs in the sport of lacrosse, Navy is in its 117th year of having a varsity men's lacrosse team. It is the fifth-oldest program in Div. I men's lacrosse.
• Four of Navy's opponents this spring are among the sport's top 10 oldest, including Friday night's foe Johns Hopkins. Now in its 137th season, Johns Hopkins is the oldest program and is the only team to reach 1,000 wins (1,021).
• Navy has already played Lehigh (135th yr) and Penn State (111th yr) and will play Army (107th yr) a month from now.
• Navy and Johns Hopkins will meet for the 93rd time when the two teams clash in Baltimore on Friday. It's the 3rd-most games Navy has played against an opponent behind Army (103 gms) and Maryland (94 gms).
