ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy wrestling team (2-3, 2-0 in the EIWA) returns home this weekend for a pair of dual meets, starting with Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) foe and 21st-ranked Lehigh (2-3, 2-0 in the EIWA) on Friday at 7:30 p.m. inside Alumni Hall. The Mids will continue the action on Saturday when they host Harvard (0-0) on Senior Night at 5 p.m.

Notes For Traveling Fans
• Vehicular access to the Naval Academy is limited to those drivers with a Department of Defense identification card.Â
• All other visitors must either park outside of the Naval Academy grounds and walk through the security gates at Gate 1 or take the complimentary shuttles from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (550 Taylor Avenue, Annapolis, Md., 21401).Â
• The shuttles will run from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday
• Enter the blue/west parking lot through gate 5 off of Taylor Avenue.Â
• The cost of parking is $10.
• Visitors 18 years and older must present a government-issued identification card (driver's license / passport) to gain access to the Academy grounds, while visitors 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Last Time Out: At Soldier Salute / Franklin & Marshall Open
• Senior team captain
Josh Koderhandt led all Midshipmen with a championship finish at the Soldier Salute in Coralville, Iowa, on Dec. 29-30. The Belleville, Ill., native won his respective weight class going 4-0 including a top 10 victory over seventh-ranked Vance Vombaur from Minnesota 4-2 and was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler at the open.
• Sophomore
Danny Wask (174) took second place in his respective weight class going 3-1 overall that was highlighted with a 3-1 victory over 15th-ranked Jared Simma from Northern Iowa. Wask's run would come to an end in the finals where he fell to fifth-ranked Patrick Kennedy out of Iowa, 6-2.
• Navy finished fifth out of 11 teams at the two-day Soldier Salute tournament with 95.5 total points. Second-ranked Iowa won the whole tournament with seven individual champions and a team score of 248. Tenth-ranked Northern Iowa placed second with 126.5 points, 7th-ranked Minnesota took third overall with 125 team points and 14th-ranked South Dakota State finished in fourth with 99 team points.

Cary Kolat sent 13 wrestlers to Lancaster, Pa., to compete in the Franklin & Marshall Open. Four wrestlers -

125 - Nick Treaster enters the weekend with a 1-1 dual record. The freshman recorded his first career dual victory over American's Coen Bainey with a 13-1 major in the Mids' most recent dual on Dec. 21. Junior
Jaden Felipe enters the probable lineup for the first time this season. The San Jose, Calif., native earned his first collegiate victory at the Franklin & Marshall Open with a 6-3 decision over Rider's (unattached) Alex Esposito.
133 - Junior
Brendan Ferretti is still searching for his first dual victory of the season. He boasts 3-7 overall record this season.
Hunter Heflin looks to make his first start since the Pittsburgh dual to open the season on Nov. 2.
141 - Josh Koderhndt inches closer to his 100th-career victory as he enters the weekend with 95 total wins. Koderhandt enters the week as the seventh-ranked wrestler in his respective weight class, leads the team in overall victories (16) and dual victories (5).
149 - Kaemen Smith has started all five duals for the Midshipmen and holds a 1-4 dual record. Smith last competed in the Soldier Salute where he started of 2-0 to reach the quarterfinals before he fell to fourth-ranked Kyle Parco out of Iowa. He dropped his last match in the tournament to Iowa State's Kane Naaktgeboren, 10-7.
157 - Sophomore
Jonathan Ley is the winner of two-straight in dual meets for the Mids at 157 pounds and sits with a 2-1 dual record this season. Ley enters the weekend with a 7-5 record with all seven victories coming by a decision.
165 - Dylan Elmore has emerged for Navy at 165 pounds. Elmore made his collegiate debut in the American dual meet where he walked away with an 11-4 victory over Kaden Milheim. The freshman most recently competed at the Soldier Salute where he went 3-2. The Mids are 3-2 overall in duals at 165 pounds.
174 - Danny Wask moved up a spot in the latest InterMat 174 pound rankings to 14. Wask has started all five duals for the Midshipmen and is second on the team in dual victories (4). The Wantage, N.J., native is one victory away from 40 career wins and boasts a 39-18 record with Navy. Wask leads the team with six ranked victories.
184 - Sophomore
Daniel Williams enters the weekend with a 2-2 dual record this season. Williams had to bump up a weight class due to injuries in the last dual against American where he secured the victory with a 9-1 major decision over Carsten Rawls.
197 - Freshman
Payton Thomas has been the primary starter at 197 pounds and holds a 2-3 dual record. Thomas recently competed in the Soldier Salute where he went 3-2 rebounding from a slow start to rattle of three straight victories. His day came to an end as he fell to Oklahoma state's Cody Merrill in the consolation semifinals.
285 - The Mids are still looking for their first victory at the 285 pound weight class. Junior
Alistair Larson has started in four duals in his first season as a member of the wrestling team and holds a 2-8 overall record.

Scouting Lehigh
• Under the direction of 17th-year head coach Pat Santoro, Lehigh enters the weekend ranked 21st in the nation with a 2-3 overall record and 2-0 in the EIWA. The Mountain Hawks three losses came from nationally ranked opponents in No. 21 Pittsburgh (21-12), No. 1 Penn State (36-3) and most recently to No. 12 Cornell (23-19).
• Lehigh is off to a fast start in EIWA competition winning its first two conference meets defeating Morgan State (37-7) and Binghamton (23-16).
• Senior and ninth-ranked Owen Trephan (285) leads Lehigh with 12 total victories this season and is 2-0 in dual meets. Trephan transferred to the Mountain Hawks from NC State where he won back-to-back ACC titles and is a two-time NCAA qualifier.
• Lehigh was well represented in the latest InterMat rankings with five Mountain Hawks cracking the top 30 in their respective weight class and two in the top 10, led by senior and sixth-ranked Michael Beard (197).
History against the Mountain Hawks
• Friday will be the 105th meeting between Navy and Lehigh.
• The Mountain Hawks are the only opponent the Mids have faced more than 100 times. Penn State is the next closest team at 86.
• Lehigh leads the all-time series 56-48 and is the only team in the EIWA that Navy doesn't have a winning record against.
• The Midshipmen are 38-25 against the Mountain Hawks in Annapolis. Lehigh won the last dual in Annapolis, 21-16.
• The inaugural match in the series was on Feb. 24, 1910 when Navy defeated Lehigh, 24-8.
• Friday will mark the 74th-consecutive year the two programs face each other in a dual.

Scouting Harvard
• The Crimson is led by 31st-year head coach Jay Weiss. Harvard will have its first dual competition of the season after starting the year with five-straight tournaments.
• Before its showdown with Navy, the Crimson will face American on Friday, Jan. 17 in Washington, D.C.
• Junior Jimmy Harrington (157) leads Harvard's projected lineup with 9 total victories.
• Diego Sotelo was the lone Crimson in the latest InterMat rankings entering at No. 21 at 125 pounds. Sotelo led Harvard in victories last season with 25 and was a NCAA qualifier where he defeated No. 5 Jore Volk out of Wyoming in the first round.
History Against the Crimson
• Saturday will be the 11th meeting between the two programs and the first since 1973.
• Navy has controlled the all-time series leading 9-0-1.
• The Midshipmen won the last dual back on Jan. 13, 1973 by a score of 35-7 in Cambridge, Mass.
• The inaugural match in the series was on Feb. 20, 1932, when Navy defeated the Crimson 22-8.
