Playing in front of a large gathering of friends and family, the 18th-ranked Navy squash team (14-6) earned a 9-0 victory over #25 Haverford (3-7) at the GIAC Squash Courts in Haverford, Pa. Thursday evening. The win marked the Mids' 25th-consecutive victory over the Fords in what was only the seventh time (third-straight season) the two have met on Haverford's home courts.

Match Highlights
• Navy won 8 of the 9 matches by way of 3-0 results with only Haverford's Kai Schinaman pushing Alexander Orr (Jr / Haverford, Pa.) to a fourth game at the #3 position
• Team captain Lucas Spiro (Sr / Buffalo, N.Y.) set the tone for the Mids, as he dealt Henry Jiang a 3-0 loss before any of the other matches had even played two games ... in doing so, he captured his 55th collegiate win and inched closer to Navy's top-25 wins list which is currently held by Brad Seidel (2007-11) with 59 wins
• Tighe Mullarkey (So/Jr / Locust Valley, N.Y.), Eli Levy (Fr / Williamstown, Mass.) and Matt Wang (Sr / Malvern, Pa.) swept through their competition at #5, #7 and #1 respectively, before Sean Wu (So / Princeton, N.J.) clinched the team victory behind an 11-4, 11-5, 11-9 win over Daniel Braun
• Wang who entered the match in a three-way to for 16th on Navy's all-time wins list, pushed up to 67-career wins and is now in a three-way tie for 14th alongside Scott Hackman (2002-06) and Bill Kacergis (2012-16) ... he is now only three wins shy of becoming one of only 12 players to reach 70 wins
• Navy closed out the match with victories by Ramsay Killinger (So / Wyndmoor, Pa.), Orr, Michael Tierney Jr. (Fr / Berwyn, Pa.) and Wenqing Tang (Fr / Villanova, Pa.) to improve to 14-6 on the year
• Tang (Fr / Villanova, Pa.) extended his winning streak to 8-consecutive matches and stands atop Navy's leader board with an 18-2 record this season ... he is looking to become the fifth different player during Tyler Osborne's seven-year tenure as head coach to reach the 20-win milestone, joining Alexander Orr (23 wins / 2022-23), Matt Wang (22 / 2022-23), Henry Sparkman (21 / 2022-23) and Millen Randell (20 / 2022-23)
