15th-Ranked Mids Play Host to Dickinson in Midweek Matchup

The unbeaten Navy squash team (9-0) will play host to No. 27 Dickinson (2-3) Wednesday evening at the Prager Family Squash Facility in the Mids' first Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference match of the season. The contest is slated to begin at 5:30 p.m.

Admission is free to all home Navy squash matches. A reminder to fans planning on attending matches, vehicular access to the Naval Academy is limited to those with a Department of Defense identification card. It is suggested that fans park downtown and walk through the main gate. Parking on the grounds is allowed for those with a valid handicap placard and it must be presented at the time of arrival. Please note that a government issued identification card must be carried and presented at the gate by all visitors to the Naval Academy.

Weekly Rewind
• Navy continued its dominance last weekend, earning four shutout victories to improve to 9-0 on the year
• The Mids kicked the weekend off with a 9-0 win over Texas Friday evening in what marked the inaugural meeting between the two programs. Navy came back to win three in a row on Saturday against Richmond (8-0), Duke (9-0) and Washington & Lee (7-0).
• For a second-consecutive week, 13 of Navy's 15 players saw action over the weekend. Johan Hodgson and Tighe Mullarkey remained sidelined, but are working their way back to the court.
• Seven players led the way for Navy with 3-0 marks - Matthew Kang, Andrew Ko, Michael Tierney Jr., Avinash Uppuluri, Turner Wolf, Holden Woodward and Sean Wu.
• Navy did not give up a game in its 33 total matches over the weekend.
• Team captain Alexander Orr earned a pair of victories on Saturday and behind an 11-7, 11-3, 11-4 win over Duke's Jake Wang, he moved into a tie for 25th on Navy's all-time win list alongside Brad Seidel (2007-11). Orr, who has put together a 59-35 record in four seasons, needs one win to tie Tommy McNamara (60-20 / 2008-11) and Owen Davis (60-36 / 2016-20) for 23rd on the wins leader board with 60.
• Wenqing Tang captured his 30th victory in just his second season, while Ramsay Killinger is two wins shy of 40.

About the Opponent
• Navy owns a 15-3 record against Dickinson in a series that first began in 1961. The Mids and Red Devils played four times between 1961-64 before picking up the series once again in 2014.
• Both Navy and Dickinson are members of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference. 
• The Red Devils earned their first win over the Mids in series history by a 5-4 count at the 2022 MASC Championship.
• Navy has won three in a row against Dickinson, earning a pair of wins during the 2023-24 campaign - a 6-3 win during the regular season and a 5-4 victory at the MASC Championship - while sweeping the Red Devils on their home court last November.
• 27th-ranked Dickinson enters Wednesday night's match with a 2-3 record, scoring wins over No. 23 Chatham (5-4) and No. 28 Haverford (5-4). The Red Devils' losses have come against No. 8 Drexel (9-0) and top-ranked Penn (9-0).

What's Ahead
• The Midshipmen continue their homestand this weekend when they play host to No. 21 Bowdoin on Saturday at 2:00 pm and close out the weekend with a 10:00 am match against No. 22 Bates. Both matches will be played at the Prager Family Squash Facility.
