TEMPE, Ariz. – Dylan Cashin paced the Navy women's triathlon team to a 13th-place finish among the 36 teams competing at the Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championship on Saturday in Tempe, Ariz. Cashin led the Midshipmen with a 49th-place individual finish (1:08:01).

"We had some good races and we had some bad races," said Navy head coach
Billy Edwards. "We had some things that didn't go our way. We have a young team and will be back for more. This will only make us hungrier. I am proud of our young athletes, Madelyn [Berry] stepped up and Dylan [Cashin] led the charge today."

Arizona captured the team title with 927 points, besting Arizona State, who finished second with 900 points. The Wildcats were led by a dominant one-two finish as Kelly Wetteland won the individual championship with a time of 1:02:09, followed by teammate Margareta Vrablova who finished in 1:02:19.

Cashin opened with a 10:55 swim before posting a 34:54 bike split and a 20:39 run to anchor Navy's lineup. Berry followed in 62nd place (1:10:05). She used a 19:31.6 run to move up late in the race.
Allison Miller placed 85th with a time of 1:11:46, while
Natalie Wang ran a 1:12:54 to finish in 96th.
