ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The final month of regular season action for the Navy men's gymnastics team kicks off on Saturday with a home matchup versus Springfield College. A long-time rival of the Mids (3-1), the Pride (0-4) come in the contest looking for their first duel meet victory of the season. Saturday marks the first time the two teams have met in a head-to-head competition since 2022 and first matchup in Annapolis in over 10 years. First touch at the Halsey Field House Gymnastics Facility is set for 2 p.m. with the action broadcast live on Navy Gymnastics' Instagram Live page and results hosted on the Virtius platform.
No strangers to the same gym both Navy and Springfield have competed along each other earlier this season at West Point Open on January 10 and the Navy Open on January 18 and will do so again later in the season as part of the USAG Collegiate Championship on March 28-29 and the ECAC Championship on April 5. At the West Point Open, Navy out-scored Springfield, 309.50 to 300.05 before the Pride came back the following week and held off the Mids, 305.30 to 303.15 in Annapolis.

Competing in their sixth meet in as many weeks, the Navy gymnastics team trotted out a variety of new lineups against the Springfield College Pride on Sunday afternoon in Springfield. With their roster depth on full display, the Mids (5-0) received a clutch performance by its high bar lineup on the final rotation to overcome a 3.1-point deficit and defeat the Pride (0-2) by a 385.3 to 381.9 final score.
Navy had four individual event winners on Sunday's meet at Blake Arena led by the senior duo of
Dan Clark and
Dhiren Lutchman on the pommel horse and parallel bars, respectively. Additional winners for the Mids were freshman
Vishal Mandava on the rings and
Syam Buradagunta on the high bar.
As a team, Navy scored 61.65 points on the floor exercise, 64.05 on the pommel horse, 63.05 on the rings, 69.3 on the vault, 62.35 on the parallel bars and 64.9 on the high bar.

Last Time Out: All-Academy Championship -- February 15 in Fort Worth
In a matchup of three tightly-ranked service academy rivals, the fans in Fort Worth were treated to a competitive 2025 All-Academy Championship meet between No. 8 Navy, No. 9 Army and No. 10 Air Force. At the conclusion of 24 routines at the Fort Worth Convention Center on Saturday night, the Falcons edged out the Midshipmen and Black Knights for the title of All-Academy Champion. The final scoreboard saw Air Force net 314.50 points ahead of Navy's 311.20 score and Army's 309.225 result.
Matthew Petros led the Mids' individual effort on Saturday night with a victory on the high bar, as well as a second-place results on the vault and parallel bars and a third-place score on the pommel horse. Competing in his final All-Academy Championship, senior
Isaiah Drake aided Navy's result with a third-place score on the floor exercise and fourths on both the vault and high bar.
As a team, Navy score 51.4 points on the floor exercise, 50.675 on the pommel horse, 50.475 on the rings, 55.175 on the vault, 51.375 on the parallel bars and 52.1 on the high bar. The Mids' vault and high bar scores were the best of meet as their four-man vault score was 1.1 points better than the Falcons, while their combined high bar efforts were 0.675 ahead of the Falcons' score.
Parking
Vehicle access to the U.S. Naval Academy is limited to those with a Department of Defense identification card ... Spectators may park outside of the USNA grounds and enter the Academy through the visitors' entrance located at Gate One at the corner of King George and Randall Streets (52 King George St.). Anyone under the age of 18, and who does not have a government-issued ID, must be accompanied by an adult. Halsey Field House is located directly to the right of the visitors' entrance.
