7 -
William Goers (Fr / A) is tied for 7th on Navy's all-time freshman assists list with 15 ... it's the most assists by a Navy freshman since Tucker Hull and Sam Jones each dealt out 15 in 2011.
6 - Navy is looking to secure its 6th home win of the 2025 campaign. A win over Army would give the Mids 6 wins at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for only the 6th time in stadium history (7-2 in 2004 / 7-1 in 2005 / 7-1 in 2007 / 7-2 in 2016 / 6-3 in 2024).
5 -

2 - With his 2 goals at Colgate,
Henry Tolker (Sr / A) became only the 10th player in school history to reach 90-career goals. It's the most by a Navy player since Ian Dingman (2003-07) amassed 125 goals, the second most in program history.
1 - During the Joe Amplo era, Navy has lost just 1 game when holding its opponent to single digits. The Mids are 29-1 when achieving that feat since 2020.

Scouting Army
• In his 20th year leading the Army lacrosse program, Joe Alberici has led the Black Knights to a 9-1 record this spring, including a 4-1 mark in the Patriot League.
• Army has wins over UMass (16-9), Rutgers (9-3), Yale (14-3), Mercer (17-4), Lafayette (15-5), Holy Cross (17-4), Lehigh (13-4), North Carolina (13-12) and Colgate (13-7).
• The Black Knights won their first 7 games of the season before Boston U. stunned Army at Michie Stadium in overtime (10-9) for a 2nd-straight year.
• The Black Knights are ranked among the nation's top 10 in 6bstatistical categories - #1 scoring defense (6.10), #1 scoring margin (+7.50), #2 assists per game (9.20), #8 points per game (22.80), #8 caused turnovers per game (10.40), #9 ground balls per game (34.10).
• Three different players have reached the 30-point milestone for the Black Knights, including Jackson Eicher (Sr / A) who leads the team with 60 points on 35 goals and 25 assists. Eicher is #3 nationally in points per game (6.00), #2 in goals per game (3.50) and #9 in assists per game (2.50). Brayden Fountain (Fr / A) has produced 43 points on 31 goals and 12 assists and stands #19 nationally in points per game (4.30), #12 in goals per game (3.10) and #6 in shot % (50.0). Additionally, Gunnar Fellows (Jr / A) has amassed 31 points on 20 goals and 11 assists.
• Sean Byrne (Jr) has been stellar in goal for the Black Knights where he has produced a 6.03 goals-against average and a 67.1 save percentage. He leads the country in both statistical categories.
• A hallmark of the Academy teams, Army's defense is once again stingy, allowing a nation's-best 6.10 goals per game. Christian Fournier (Sr / LSM) leads the team with 27 caused turnovers this spring and is ranked #3 nationally (2.56). Meanwhile, AJ Pilate (Sr / D), the reigning two-time Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year, has recorded 13.
• Army has arguably the best faceoff specialist in the country in Will Coletti (Sr), however he sat out 4 games due to injury. He returned to the field last Saturday against Colgate and owns a 50-for-86 (58.1) winning percentage in his 6 appearances. Robert Simone (So) has filled in for Coletti and has won 48 of the 102 draws (47.1) he has taken. Alec Vaccaro (Sr) has also figured into the mix, winning 13 of 36 draws.
Army-Navy Series
• Navy owns a 63-38-3 series advantage and has won 20 of the last 32 contests in the series, including 6 of the last 11.
• The Mids also own a 58-35-3 advantage in Star Games, winning 17 of the last 26 including 6 of the last 9.
• The Mids lead the series in Annapolis 31-19-1, winning 3 of the last 5 Star Games on their home field (2015, 10-7 / 2017, 10-6 / 2021, 9-4).
• In its 104-game history, Army and Navy have met twice in a season on just 7 previous occasions. In 1978 and '81, the two also met in the NCAA Tournament. The two have met in the Patriot League Tournament 6 times - 2005, '06, '07, '10, '15 and '16.
• Navy has scored 8 or more goals in 29 of the last 37 contests against Army. However, the Mids have reached double figures just 5 times in the last 19 meetings. Navy has held Army to single digits in 15 of the 26 games since joining the league in 2004.
• The 2021 Army-Navy game was a welcomed return to a series that had seen the two programs meet for 87-consecutive years, the longest continuous lacrosse series between Navy and another team. In March of 2020, the world as we knew it would be put on pause and for the first time since 1932, there would not be an Army-Navy lacrosse game.
• The series returned in 2021 with the Mids scoring a 9-4 win in Annapolis in what was Navy head coach Joe Amplo's first game in the storied rivalry.
• The 2022 game was a thriller at West Point. Senior co-captain Jack Sweeney cashed in on his lone appearance of the game, as the extra-man sniper scored the game-winning goal 58 seconds into overtime to lead Navy to a 12-11 victory over #6 Army at Michie Stadium. Army was the highest-ranked opponent Navy had defeated since beating #3 Yale 13-10 in the opening round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
