ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy track & field teams will play host to rival Army on Saturday at Ingram Field in the annual Army-Navy Outdoor Star Meet. The meet is part of the overall Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA.
The men's meet begins at 9:30 a.m. with the field events and the running events follow at noon. On the women's side, the field events start at 10:45 a.m. and the track events begin at 3:30 p.m.
Live results from Leonetiming will be available throughout the meet.
Accessing the Naval Academy
• Vehicular access to the Naval Academy is limited to those drivers with a Department of Defense identification card.
• All other visitors must either park outside of the Naval Academy grounds and walk through the security gates at Gate 1 or take the complimentary shuttles from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (550 Taylor Avenue, Annapolis, Md., 21401).
• The shuttles will run from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Enter the blue/west parking lot through gate 5 off of Taylor Avenue. The cost of parking is $10.
• Visitors 18 years and older must present a government-issued identification card (driver's license / passport) to gain access to the Academy grounds, while visitors 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
All-Time Series
The Navy men's team holds a 53-44 advantage in the overall outdoor series with a 26-21 lead in meets held in Annapolis. The Navy women's team has posted a 23-14 record against the Black Knights in the outdoor series, including a 13-5 mark in Annapolis.
The Navy men's team has won 12-consecutive outdoor Star Meets and the women's team has claimed nine-straight outdoor Stars.
The Midshipmen swept the indoor competition at Gillis Field House in West Point, N.Y., earlier this season. The men's team posted a 99-82 victory and the women's team recorded a 94-87 win.

Jamie Cook has posted a 25-3 record against Army and has won 22-consecutive Star Meets.
2024-25 Army-Navy Star Series
Army holds a narrow 11-9 overall lead in the 2024-25 Army-Navy Star Series with six Star Matches remaining this year.
Along with track & field's two Stars, women's tennis will also battle for a Star Saturday in West Point, N.Y.
The remaining three stars up for grabs are men's tennis and men's and women's lacrosse. All three of those games will be held on April 12.

Last Week
The Mids posted a solid performance last weekend when they played host to the Navy Outdoor Invitational in their first home outdoor meet of the season.
Jacques Guillaume set a school record to win the 400m hurdles in a time of 50.76 to best the previous record of 50.79 he set last year.
The men's 4x100m relay team of Marcel Jackson, Nathan Kent, Jonah Johnson and Tyler Yurich ran the fifth-fastest time (40.19) in program history to win the event.
Jordynn Hutchinson finished in first place in three events in the same meet for the second time this spring. She won the shot put (14.06m / 46' 1.5"), hammer throw (50.55m / 165' 10") and discus (43.90m / 144' 0") events.
Prior to Saturday's meet in Annapolis, Murphy Smith set a school record in the 10,000m when he competed at the Raleigh Relays on Thursday. The senior from Charlotte, N.C., posted a time of 28:23.81, which was more than 13 seconds faster than his own record of 28:37.01 he had set last year in the same meet.

The Mids swept the 2024 Outdoor Star Meet in West Point as each team won 11 events against the Black Knights. Navy posted a 114-89 victory in the men's meet and the women's team recorded a 111-92 win.
