Vivian Cressman and
Megan Kirkpatrick of the Navy women's golf team were named to the 2024-25 Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team on Monday.

A total of 1,499 women's collegiate golfers from 403 programs were recognized with the prestigious honor by the WGCA, with Howard, Cressman and Kirkpatrick each earning the honor for the first time in their careers.

Earning Patriot League All-Academic honors last month, Howard finished her second season with a 77.25 scoring average and four top-10 finishes, including placing 10th at the 2025 Patriot League Championship to pick up All-Patriot League Second Team selection.

For Cressman, the rookie capped off her first collegiate season with an 80.14 scoring average over 21 rounds, helping the Mids capture the 2025 Patriot League Championship.

The 2025 Patriot League Rookie of the Year, Kirkpatrick posted the best freshman scoring average in program history (76.19) and collected three top-5 finishes, including tying for individual runner-up at the 2025 Patriot League Championship to garner all-league first-team accolades.

To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season and have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
