ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's tennis team will be back in the Tose Family Tennis Center for a pair of doubleheaders this week. The Mids (4-2) will play host to Longwood (0-0) at 10 a.m. and Morgan State (0-0) at 1 p.m. on Thursday. Navy then will face Hofstra (0-0) at 10 a.m. and George Mason (0-1) at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Navy
The Mids registered a pair of 5-2 victories over Niagara and Binghamton last Saturday in Binghamton, N.Y.
Jake Young and
Jason Kim each won a pair of matches against the Purple Eagles, with
Lachlan Buckingham winning in both doubles and singles against the Bearcats. Nine different Mids won at least one match over the course of the day.
Longwood
Longwood will be opening its 2025-26 campaign when it plays Navy on Thursday. The Lancers finished the 2024-25 season with an overall record of 7-11 and a 1-2 mark during the Big South regular season. Longwood received the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament and lost in the semifinals.
Navy posted a 4-3 victory over Longwood last year in what was the first match between the teams.
Morgan State
The Bears will begin their season with a Wednesday match at Drexel. Morgan State finished last season with an overall record of 8-17 and tallied a 2-3 record against Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference opponents. The No. 4 seed in the conference tournament, Morgan State fell by the score of 4-3 to top-seeded and eventual-champion South Carolina State.
Navy has won all 13 prior matches in the series, including a 7-0 victory in 2025.
Hofstra
The Pride will start their year with a Friday match against George Mason in Annapolis. Hofstra posted a 9-8 record a year ago, an overall mark that featured a 1-2 record against Coastal Athletic Association opponents. The Pride garnered the No. 5 seed in the conference tournament and lost in the quarterfinal round of the event.
The last two Navy-Hofstra matches have finished with a score of 4-3. The Mids won by that count in 2024 and the Pride won last season's match.
Navy has won four of the five previous matches in the series.
George Mason
The Patriots dropped their lone match to date, a 4-3 defeat to Rider last weekend. George Mason totaled a 7-10 record a year ago and split its four Atlantic 10 Conference matches. The sixth-seeded Patriots lost in the quarterfinal round of the conference tournament.
Navy won a 6-1 match against George Mason last season to take a 22-1 advantage in the series.
