ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy track and field teams closed out the regular indoor season on a strong note, winning 14 events at the Navy Select on Friday afternoon at Wesley Brown Field House.
Â
The meet featured no team scoring and included athletes from Johns Hopkins, Loyola (Md.) and the Under Armour District Track Club.
Â
"We used this meet to position our athletes to be ready for next week's championship meet," said Navy Director of Track & Field/Cross Country
Jamie Cook. "Some competed, some rested. It came down to what each athlete needed to feel prepared. What excites me most is seeing how much this team loves to compete. That's who we are."
