ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Navy men's tennis player Herrick Legaspi was ranked 16th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Atlantic Regional Ranking, which was announced this week.

Legaspi compiled a 7-1 record in singles during the Patriot League season, a 16-6 record during the spring campaign and a 22-11 record on the full 2025-26 season.  The member of the Class of 2026 put together a 14-4 record when playing No. 1 singles this season.

He also posted a 9-4 record when playing No. 1 doubles for the Mids this year and finished his final season on The Yard with a 13-6 doubles record during the spring and an 18-11 overall mark on the year. 

This is the fourth time in the last six years in which a Navy player has earned a regional ranking.  The last time a Mid was ranked as high as 16th was when Mitch Koch was ranked first in 2000.
