Our Sunday Salute continues with the five members of the men's and women's swimming and diving teams who qualified for the NCAA Championship and were unable to compete at the meet due to the event being canceled.
Bradley Buchter

NCAA Championship – Fourth
Events – One-Meter Diving, Three-Meter Diving
Additional Notes – The four-time Patriot League diver of the year became just the third Navy men's diver to qualify for the NCAA Championship in each of his four years. He earned 2019 Honorable Mention All-America honors and qualified for this year's national championship by winning both boards at the Zone A Championship.
Meghan Gerdes

Additional Notes – Needing to place no lower than fifth place to qualify for the NCAA Championship, she stood in 11
th place midway through the platform diving event at the NCAA Zone Championship but rose to fourth by the end of the competition. She previously competed in platform and three-meter diving at the 2019 NCAA Championship.
Sydney Harrington

Additional Notes – The 2020 Patriot League Swimmer of the Year was seeded 19
th nationally in the 200 fly (top-16 finishers at the NCAA Championship earn All-America accolades) with her school and league record time of 1:54.47. She also holds the Navy and Patriot League record in the 100 fly (52.12) and was seeded 24
th in the event at the NCAA Championship.
Luke Johnson

Additional Notes – Was seeded 18
th in the NCAA Championship field in the 1650 free with his 2020 Patriot League Championship winning time of 14:52.11. That effort also was a school and league record.
Hannah Montau
Class – Sophomore
Hometown – Germantown, Md.

Additional Notes –– She previously competed in one-meter and platform diving at the 2019 NCAA Championship. This year's selection made her the second Mid to qualify for the NCAA (D1) Championship in diving twice in a career.
