Bill Roberts announced today that rising senior
Luke Johnson (Charlotte, N.C.) will serve as the captain of the men's swimming and diving team this coming season.

Johnson has garnered First-Team All-Patriot League honors in each of his three seasons to date thanks to his winning the 1650 freestyle at the league championship in 2018, '19 and '20. His most recent winning time of 14:52.11 ranked 18
th nationally and qualified him for the NCAA Championship. Johnson was slated to compete in the 1650 free, the 500 free and the 400 individual medley at this year's national championship.

In the classroom, Johnson has posted a 4.00 GPA in two of his six semesters and has been named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team as both a sophomore and junior.
