Five Starting Notes
1 – Navy and Lehigh first met nearly 110 years ago (Jan. 21, 1911).  This weekend's games will mark the 50th season in which the teams will have faced each other.
2 – Navy won both games against Lehigh in 2018 and 2020 and the Mountain Hawks won both games against the Mids in 2019.  Four of those six games were decided by six or fewer points.
3 – Of the eight Patriot League teams to play games last weekend, Navy was the only one to win both games.
4 – Ed DeChellis is one victory away from moving into sole possession of fourth place for the most victories by a Navy head coach.  He currently is tied with Paul Evans for fourth place with 119 wins at Navy.
5 – This will be Navy's first weekend of play without senior Luke Loehr, who suffered a career-ending knee injury during the team's Jan. 3 game at Bucknell.  Loehr had appeared in every game since the beginning of his sophomore (2018-19) season and started every game a year ago.

Series History
• Navy and Lehigh first met 110 seasons ago –– Jan. 21, 1911, to be exact –– in Annapolis.  The Mids posted a 31-24 victory in that initial contest.
• Navy holds a 51-32 advantage in the all-time series with Lehigh.  This includes a 32-26 lead in Patriot League regular season games.
• Navy leads the all-time series with Lehigh, 28-17, when the games are played in Annapolis, but trails the Mountain Hawks, 15-14, in league regular season games played on The Yard.  Lehigh also has posted a 15-14 record against Navy in games played in Alumni Hall (all have been league regular season games).
• Navy has posted a 21-13 record against Lehigh when the teams meet in Bethlehem, which includes an 18-11 lead in league games played there.  Additionally, the Mids hold a 20-13 advantage over the Mountain Hawks in games played in Stabler Arena (18-11 in league regular season games).
• Navy won both games it played against Lehigh last season, winning 64-58 in Annapolis and 88-83 in Bethlehem.  Lehigh swept the 2019 season series and the Mids won both games played in 2018.  
• The Lehigh-Navy series enters the weekend ranked 16th for the most games played between league teams (83).
