ANNAPOLIS, Md. –– The top divers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions will compete in the NCAA Zone A Diving Championship March 7-9 in Lejeune Hall. The event will determine the qualifiers from the region for the NCAA Championship meets.
Monday's competition begins at noon and features the women's one-meter board and the men's three-meter event. Tuesday's session also begins at noon and includes the men's one-meter and women's three-meter boards. Wednesday's session of platform diving will start at 11 a.m.

There is no admission charge to attend the zone meet. Fans without a Department of Defense-approved ID card must either park outside of the USNA and walk through the gate one security center or else park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and ride the free shuttle bus to and from the meet. A photo ID is required to enter the USNA for those ages 18 and above, and those ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Shuttles will run from the blue (west) side of Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Each of the five zone meets will qualify a different number of divers for the NCAA Championship. Zone A has been allocated five divers in each of the women's events and four in each of the men's events. Divers who qualify in one event and also place among the top-12 finishers in another will be able to compete at the NCAA Championship in the additional events.
Georgia Tech will play host to both national championship meets this spring. The women's meet will be held March 17-19 and the men's meet will be contested March 24-26.
Navy's
Hannah Montau (Sr., Germantown, Md.) will compete in all three events at the zone meet. The two-time Patriot League Diver of the Year has advanced out of the zone meet to the national championship in each of her first three seasons.
Caroline Turner (Sr., Phoenixille, Pa.) will compete at the meet for ther second time. She had competed in both springboard events at the 2020 meet and will do so again this year.
The remainder of the Mids who have qualified for the zone championship will be making their first appearances at the meet.
George Moore (So., New Canaan, Conn.) and
Blakeman Shaw (Fr., Coral Gables, Fla.) are each entered in the two springboard events and
Zack Peng (Fr., Oakton, Va.) has qualified to compete in the three-meter event.
