ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy track and field teams hit the road to Harrisonburg, Va. on Saturday to compete in the JMU Invitational. The meet begins with the throwing events at 10 a.m. and the track events follow at 12:30 p.m.

Three Mids Garner Weekly Awards
The Patriot League announced its weekly track and field awards on Tuesday and three Midshipmen –
Nathan Kent, Annie Lemelin and
Brian Schloeder – garnered an accolade for their performances during the Army-Navy Outdoor Star Meet last Saturday.
Kent was tabbed the Men's Track Athlete of the Week for the first time this season. He won three events (200m, 4x100m relay, 4x400m relay) in the 104-99 victory against the Black Knights, Navy's 13
th-consecutive win over Army in outdoor track and field.
Lemelin garnered the Women's Track Athlete-of-the-Week award as she competed in five events in Navy's 107-96 victory, which was its 10th-straight win over Army. She won the 100m and 400m hurdles and was a member of the winning 4x100m relay team.
Schloeder was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the second time this season (Jan. 14). He recorded a height of 4.89m (16' 05") to win the pole vault against the Black Knights.
Last Time Out: Army-Navy Star Meet
Navy swept the 2025 Army-Navy Outdoor Star Meet, which is part of the overall Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA, last Saturday at Ingram Field in Annapolis. The men's team posted a 104-99 victory and the women's team claimed a 107-96 win.
The Mids have now won 24-straight indoor / outdoor Star Meets over Army.

Tyler Yurich won Navy's first track event of the day with a school-record time of (39.64).
Renny Murphy won the javelin for the third time this spring as she set a school record (52.95m / 173' 8") on her first throw of the day.
Lemelin opened her day as the second leg in the 4x100m relay that clocked a 46.20 to win the event. She then ran a career-best 11.89 in the 100m sprint before winning her second-straight 400m hurdles event in 1:02.43.
The men's team went into the final event of the meet (4x400m relay) with a slim 99-96 edge over Army. The team of

Jacques Guillaume cruised to the victory in 3:13.50, finishing nearly three seconds faster than the Black Knights (3:16. 53).
