ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Head coach Billy Edwards announced today that rising junior
MC Kistler has been selected as the team captain for the upcoming 2025-26 Navy triathlon season.

"MC has been a solid leader since joining the team and has taken her role as a mentor to the younger Mids both naturally and seriously," Edwards said. "She understands she is leading a squad of talented, eager and young athletes who strive to be a great team and to become great naval officers."

"I'm honored to be chosen to lead this young but mighty team of athletes," said Kistler. "Working alongside them during practices and competitions makes me a better athlete."

Kistler competed in all five events during the 2024-25 season, which was her first with the squad. She made her collegiate debut by finishing in 15th place at the Patriots Triathlon with a time of 1:28:10. Her season-best performance came at the Robious Landing Collegiate Cup where she clocked in at 1:12:02.

The Apex, N.C., native is a mathematics major and has earned academic honors from the USNA in each of her four completed terms.
