WILMINGTON, Del. - The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Assocation recently announced its list of 2025 CRCA Scholar-Athletes. The Mids had 10 student-athletes honored for their success on the water and in the classroom. The trio of
Noelle de Vente (Greenville, N.C. - Mathematics),
Lizzie Jendrysik (Sarasota, Fla. - Aerospace Engineering) and
Tenlea Radack (Washington, D.C. - Honors Mathematics) led the group of high achievers as they all earned their third and final nods after wrapping up their collegiate careers this past May.
For the 2025 season, all honorees needed to be in their second, third, fourth or fifth season of eligibility, rowed in her institution's NCAA eligible boats (V8, 2V8, V4, 2V4) for a minimum of 75% of the current spring races or raced at their respective conference championship and have a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher through the end of the fall semester.
The above mentioned group of de Vente, Jendrysik and Radack all competed with Navy's first varsity eight crew at the 2025 Patriot League Championship on May 16. Majoring in mathematics, aerospace engineering and honors mathematics, respectively, the trio earned scholar-athlete accolades from the CRCA all three years they were eligible. Additionally, Radack was selected as the 2025 Patriot League Women's Rowing Scholar-Athlete of the Year with de Vente joining her on the Patriot League All-Academic Team. All three graduated from the United States Naval Academy with distinction on May 23.
Rising seniors
Mary Catherine Harvey (Loch Arbour, N.J. - English),
Grace Rimmer (Phoenix, Ariz. - Cyber Operations) and
Eleanor Snyder (Sherwood, Ore. - Applied Physics) all achieved CRCA Scholar-Athlete laurels for the second time in their careers. At the Patriot League year-ending regatta, Snyder rowed in the Mids' V8 from the fourth seat, while Harvey served as the coxswain of the 2V8 with Rimmer in the 2V8's second seat.
A quartet of first-time honorees round out the CRCA's announcement as rising senior
Isa Dugan (Princeton, N.J. - English) is joined by rising juniors
Ingrid Holter (Hudson, Wisc. - Mechanical Engineering),
Emily Kroettinger (Folsom, Calif. - Cyber Operations) and
Kyra Schmid (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. - Aerospace Engineering). Dugan, Holter and Schmid all raced with Navy's 2V4 at the Patriot League Championship, while Kroettinger was in the sixth seat of the Mids' 2V8.
