Last Time Out
Navy opened its season at the Navy Indoor Invitational on Dec. 6, recording two top-10 program marks.

Conor McFadden placed second in the 60-meter sprint in 6.84, tying the 10th-fastest time in program history.

On the women's side, Zoie Tesi won the high jump at 1.74 meters (5-8), the fourth-best mark in program history. She also won the triple jump for the first time in her career with an 11.81-meter leap (38-9).

Jason Keiser impressed in his collegiate debut, winning the 60-meter hurdles in 8.17. He added an eighth-place finish in the 200 meters (22.21) and helped Navy's 4x400-meter relay B team to a third-place finish in 3:20.91.

Tesi was named Patriot League Women's Field Athlete of the Week, while Keiser earned Men's Rookie of the Week honors for their performances.

Navy Indoor Duals Under Cook
Under director of track and field and cross country Jamie Cook, Navy owns a 19-10 indoor dual-meet record (men: 12-3, women: 7-7).

Against Princeton, Cook's teams hold a 6-7 record, with the men at 5-2 and the women at 1-5. The Midshipmen dropped both duals to the Tigers last season by identical 104-75 scores.

Cook has led Navy to 11 Patriot League indoor championships. The men have won the title six times, including it's fourth-consecutive championship last season, while the women own five championships, highlighted by a three-year streak from 2022 to 2024.

Returning Dual Event Winners
The Mids return two of five men's event winners from last season's dual against Princeton: Tyler Yurich (200 meters) and Brian Schloeder (pole vault).

On the women's side, Jia Anderson returns after winning the 60-meter hurdles (8.59) in Navy's lone individual event victory over Princeton last season.

The Midshipmen also bring back their entire 4x800-meter relay team — Julia Blake, Kate Leddy, Marianna Pizem and Mia-Claire Kezal — which won last year's race in 9:13.25.

Scouting Princeton
Princeton will compete in its only dual of the season on Saturday. The meet marks the Tigers' second competition of the winter after competing at the Penn Opener on Dec. 5–6, where Charlie Sexton set a meet record in the 60-meter sprint in 6.78.

Princeton is led by 13th-year head coach Jason Vigilante, who has guided the Tigers to five Ivy League triple crowns, most recently in 2024.
