WEST POINT, N.Y. – The #7 Navy rifle team completed competition in the 2026 Great America Rifle Conference (GARC) Championship on Sunday afternoon, placing third overall in the competition that was held at the Tronsrue Marksmanship Center in West Point, N.Y. Freshman

Parker Haydin, and junior
Isabella Baldwin each carded scores in the 1180s to lead the Midshipmen.
As a team, Navy finished with an aggregate score of 4729 to finish behind defending national champion and fourth-ranked West Virginia (4740) and top-ranked Kentucky (4730). The Mids finished ahead of match-host and #16 Army (4714), #12 Akron (4713), and #10 Memphis (4708).
The Midshipmen opened up the competition on Saturday with a smallbore score of 2353 to finish second in the discipline. In air rifle, Navy was third with a team score of 2376.
"We are satisfied with our performance at the conference championships," head coach
Mike Anti said. "Of course, we would have liked to have finished ahead of Kentucky, but all in all a good showing. This was a good test prior to the NCAA Championships and showed us that we still have a few things to work on.
"It has been a successful season, but we want to finish strong at the NCAAs. We always talk about starting strong and finishing strong and that is exactly what we want to do."
T. Wee led all Midshipmen, finishing his first GARC Championship with a team-best aggregate score of 1188. He finished with a team-high 98 centers during the two-day competition. Haydin was one point back with an 1187 aggregate total, notching 82 centers. Baldwin rounded out the Mids' top three with a two-day total of 1185 and 81 centers.
Four Mids followed shooting aggregate scores in the 1160s.
Catherine Dely and
Ryan Wee matched one another with an 1166 each. R. Wee served as a starter during smallbore, while Dely was a starter during the air rifle portion of the competition.
Chelsie Glover posted an 1164, while
Grace Shepard notched an 1160.
Devin Uhrich was one point back of Shepard with an 1159 in his final GARC Championship.
"Not only did this match test our ability in a high stress competition, but it was also an emotional match for our seniors shooting their last collegiate competition," Anti added. "I am so very proud of them and their commitment to our team for the past four years. They were all instrumental in the success of our program over the past four years and all contributed to our four Star wins over Army.'
Up next, Navy will compete at the upcoming NCAA Rifle National Championship. Hosted by Ohio State University, the championships will be held March 13-14 on campus at Converse Hall in Columbus, Ohio.
Smallbore Recap: 2nd of 6; 2353 points
On the first day of competition, the Midshipmen finished second among the six conference teams competing. The Mids posted a collective total of 2353 on the day to conclude the first day of the GARC Championship just five points behind West Virginia (2358). Akron was third with a 2346, while Kentucky and Army tied with a 2345. Memphis rounded out the scoring with a 2333.
The 2353 for the Midshipmen ranked sixth in program history, just one point shy of tying for third all-time in the Navy record book.
Baldwin paced the team on the opening day with a 591. It was the third time the junior topped the 590-plateau in smallbore this season and the second time this year shooting a 591 in West Point.
T. Wee and Haydin followed with smallbore scores of 590 each. T. Wee shot 590 or above for a team-best eighth time in his rookie campaign. The freshman led the team with 42 centers on the day. It was the sixth time this year that Haydin shot 590 or better, including hitting that mark five of the last six matches.
R. Wee and Glover rounded out Navy's starters in smallbore. The older Wee brother posted a 582 with 35 centers to his credit. Glover posted a smallbore tally of 577, hitting 22 centers on the day.
Dely, Shepard, and Uhrich closed out the shooters for the Midshipmen. Dely finished the smallbore portion of her final GARC Championship with a 579, while Shepard was a few points back with a 573. The duo each were credited with 21 centers during smallbore. Uhrich also shot a 573 in smallbore, collecting 24 centers.
Air Rifle Recap: 3rd of 6; 2376 points
The final day of competition saw the Midshipmen finish third among the six teams. The Mids posted a collective total of 2376 on the day. Kentucky led the way with a 2385 while West Virginia followed with a 2382. After Navy, Memphis finished with a 2375, while Army posted a 2369, and Akron closed out the scoring with a 2367.
T. Wee led the team on the final day of competition. The freshman shot a 598 in air rifle, posting 56 centers in his 60 shots. Haydin followed with a 597 with 52 centers to his credit. It was the second consecutive match for Haydin firing a 597. Baldwin rounded out Navy's top three in air rifle with a 594 on the day, finishing with 50 centers.
Dely and Shepard closed out the Midshipmen starters in air rifle. The duo matched one another with a score of 587 with Dely notched 42 centers with Shepard following with 36.
Glover also posted a 587 in air rifle, posting 43 centers. Uhrich recorded a 586 in air rifle, connecting on 39 centers, while R. Wee closed out the Navy scoring with a 584 with help from 32 centers.
