Women’s Golf Selected for NCAA Stanford Regional

Navy Headed to Stanford-Hosted Regional at the Stanford Golf Course on May 11-13

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Fresh off a three-peat as Patriot League champions, the Navy women's golf team will take part in the 2026 NCAA Stanford Regional, it was announced Wednesday by the NCAA.

The Midshipmen were an automatic qualifier and are the No. 12 seed in the Stanford Regional, hosted by Stanford University. The Stanford Regional will be played at the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, Calif.

This marks Navy's third-straight and fourth-overall NCAA Regional appearance following berths in 2021, 2024 and 2025.

Regional play will take place May 11-13 at all six regional sites. All six regional sites will have 12 teams and six individuals. The top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site will advance to play in the national championships to be played May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, Calif.

The 12 teams competing at the Stanford Regional site include, in order of seed, Stanford, Pepperdine, Vanderbilt, Arizona State, Missouri, Arizona, Cal State Fullerton, Illinois, Oregon State, Cal Poly, South Dakota State and Navy.

Navy claimed the 2026 Patriot League Championship by 11 strokes over runner-up Bucknell at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club earlier this month, as junior Emma Tang took home the individual medal while sophomore Vivian Cressman shared runner-up honors.
