BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for track and field and Navy student-athletes Clayton Thompson (Corpus Christi, Texas), Cole Bailey (Yukon, Okla.), Brahmir Vick (Middletown, Del.), and Annie Taylor (Nashville, Tenn.) were each recognized for their performances in the Navy Invitational II. Thompson was named the Men's Track Athlete of the Week, while Bailey claimed the Men's Field Athlete of the Week. Vick and Taylor swept the Men's and Women's Rookie of the Week categories, respectively.
Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Competed in three events at the Navy Invitational II against UConn over the weekend ... Won the 110m hurdles with an IC4A qualifying time of 13.64 (2.5), which ranks 12th in the NCAA and first in the Patriot League ... The time would have shattered the Navy school record, but was slightly above the wind allowance ... Came in second in the 400m hurdles with an IC4A qualifying time of 52.57, while taking third in the pole vault with an IC4A qualifying height of 4.87m (15-11.75)
Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Competed in a pair of events at the Navy Invitational II, winning both events he competed in ... Registered an IC4A qualifying height of 2.11m (6-11.00) in the high jump to win the event ... The jump is the best for the Midshipmen this season, tops in the Patriot League, and ranks 48th in the NCAA ... He also won the long jump with a distance of 7.01m (23-00.00), missing out on a second IC4A qualifying mark by 0.04m ... Won the long jump by 0.29m.
Men's Rookie of the Week

Competed in three events at the Navy Invitational II over the weekend ... Finished third in the 110m hurdles behind teammate Thompson with a time of 14.25 (2.5), which ranks third in the Patriot League and 96th in the NCAA currently ... Ran the opening leg of the 4x100m relay that clocked an IC4A qualifying time of 41.91 ... Also competed in the long jump posted a distance of 6.48m (21-03.25)
Women's Rookie of the Week
Annie Taylor | Multis | Fr. | 5-10 | Nashville, Tenn. | Harpeth
Competed in the heptathlon and the 100m hurdles at the Navy Invitational II over the weekend ... Won the heptathlon with a score of 4,796 points, which is the second best in Navy history... Missed out on the school record by 77 points ... Her performance in the heptathlon currently ranks 86th in the NCAA ... Also took part in the 100m hurdles finishing with a time of 14.69 (2.7) to finish third overall and as the top freshman in the event.
