ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy track and field team posted a strong showing in the first home outdoor meet of the season as the Mids hosted the Navy Spring Meet at Ingram Field on Saturday. The Midshipmen tallied 19 IC4A / ECAC qualifying times and marks in the final tune up before the annual Army-Navy Outdoor Star Meet next weekend.
"We did well," Director of Navy Track and Field / Cross Country
Jamie Cook said after the meet. "We were competitive. We wanted to make sure everyone came out of the meet healthy as we gear up towards Army-Navy next week. I think some younger athletes did a really good job stepping up. We turn our attention to getting ready for this week's practice as we prepare to head up to West Point."
The Mids had 16 IC4A qualifiers with three ECAC marks.
Caden Dailey (Centreville, Va.) and
Jay Evans (Cusseta, Ga.) each clocked IC4A times in the 100m dash, while

Nahshon Houston (Kansas City, Kan.) combined for an IC4A time of 42.22 in the 4x100m relay.
