BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Navy track and field student-athlete Caden Dailey (Centreville, Va.) was selected as the Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week for his efforts at the George Mason Spring Invitational as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Dailey competed in the long jump over the weekend, winning the event with an IC4A qualifying mark of 7.35m (24-01.50). The junior was the only Navy student-athlete to win an event at the meet. Dailey's distance is a season-best and the top jump by a Midshipmen this year. In addition, the jump ranks first in the Patriot League by 0.12m, while ranking 86th in the NCAA.
 
Navy returns to action on Friday-Saturday, April 15-16 as the Midshipmen travel to Princeton, N.J. for the Larry Ellis Invitational.
