ANNAPOLIS, Md.—Navy placed 10 student-athletes, five men and five women, on the 2024 Men's and Women's Cross Country and Track & Field College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team. To qualify, student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and be at least a sophomore.
Sophomore Justin Mumford (3.92 GPA / Aerospace Engineering), senior Collin Greene (3.74 GPA / Chemistry), junior Benjemen Schneider (3.74 GPA / Quantitative Economics), senior Braden Presser (3.95 GPA / Mathematics) and junior Ben Countiss (3.68 GPA / History) made the team on the men's side, while senior Annie Taylor (4.0 GPA / Mathematics), senior Ellie Abraham (3.82 GPA / History), senior McKenna Brophy (3.97 GPA / Ocean Engineering with Honors), senior Emily Boutin (3.8 GPA / English with Honors) and senior Caroline Harding (3.68 GPA / Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering) made it from the women's team.
Mumford, Presser, Countiss, Taylor, Abraham, Brophy and Boutin were all selected by the College Sports Communicators to advance to Academic All-American voting.
