Â
In the finals against Georgetown, the racing once against proved to be a close match with leads being exchanged throughout the contest. However, Navy was able to prevail yet again, defeating the Hoyas, 2-0, to claim the Intrepid Trophy and an automatic berth at the national championships.
Â
In its second competition of the weekend, Navy took part in the MAISA Coed/Women's Combined Regatta hosted by Cornell in Ithaca, N.Y. with nine teams competing in two simultaneous competitions.
