Weekly Rewind
Battling back from a pair of heartbreaking 5-4 losses a week ago in Annapolis, Navy scored a pair of wins over #26 Wesleyan (6-3) and #28 Connecticut College (4-8) last weekend. The Mids picked up an 8-1 neutral site victory over Connecticut College Friday evening played at Wesleyan's Rosenbaum Squash Center. Navy followed up with a 9-0 sweep of Wesleyan on Saturday morning, as Navy now owns a combined 46-1 record against Connecticut College and Wesleyan.

• Navy won 12 of its 17 matches by 3-0 marks and no individual match was extended to five games
• Navy's only loss of the weekend was a 3-0 decision (11-7, 12-10, 11-2) by Connecticut College's Henry Pelletier over Navy's Alexander Orr
• Navy was impressive from top to bottom despite being without #4 player Matthew Kang who was sidelined due to an injury sustained the previous weekend
• Matt Wang earned a solid victory (14-12, 13-15, 11-4, 11-3) at #1 in his match against Connecticut College's Alex Moncada ... Moncada came into the match with a 10-1 record
• Eli Levy, who improved to 7-3 on the year, earned his first victory as a member of the Mids' starting ladder, scoring an 11-7, 9-11, 11-8, 11-6 win against Gabriel Solonsky of Connecticut College at the #7 slot
• Team captain Lucas Spiro also got back on track over the weekend, earning his 53rd and 54th victories ... he is now just 5 wins shy of tying Brad Seidel (2007-11) for 25th on the Mids' all-time wins list
• Sean Wu pushed into the #9 slot for the Mids this weekend where he went 2-0, defeating both opponents by 3-0 counts
• Wenqing Tang added a pair of wins to his season total and stands atop the wins leader board with a 17-2 record ... he has won 7-consecutive matches for the Mids
• Meanwhile, Wang is now 66-47 over his four seasons and is tied for 16th (alongside Hunter Beck, 2010-14 and Jack Herold, 2014-18) on the Mids' all-time wins list ... with his win over Moncada on Friday evening, he became just the 20th player in school history to reach 65 wins ... he is now only four wins shy of becoming one of only 12 players to reach 70 wins
