After a week off from team competition, the 14th-ranked Navy squash team (17-3) is set to return to action on Thursday when it travels to #30 Haverford (2-7). The match is slated for a 6:00 pm start at the GIAC Squash Courts. Following a day of rest, the Mids will return to the Prager Family Squash Facility on Saturday and play host to #19 Western (1-7) at 1:00 pm.
Navy team captain
Alexander Orr (Sr / Haverford, Pa.) will be honored at Saturday's match as the program will celebrate Senior Day. Orr, who garnered Second-Team All-Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference honors a year ago, has amassed a 67-38 record over four seasons and is tied with Scott Hackman (2002-06) and Bill Kacergis (2012-16) for 15th on the Mids' all-time wins list. Additionally, he is just three wins from becoming only the 13th player in school history to reach the 70-win milestone. Orr teamed up with
Ramsay Killinger (Jr / Wyndmoor, Pa.) last year to win the U.S. Intercollegiate Doubles National Championship, his first and the program's seventh title.
Admission is free to all home Navy squash matches. A reminder to fans planning on attending matches, vehicular access to the Naval Academy is limited to those with a Department of Defense identification card. It is suggested that fans park downtown and walk through the main gate. Parking on the grounds is allowed for those with a valid handicap placard and it must be presented at the time of arrival. Please note that a government issued identification card must be carried and presented at the gate by all visitors to the Naval Academy.

Looking Back

Wenqing Tang represented Navy at the CSA National Individual Championship last weekend in New York City where he dropped a pair of hard-fought matches.
• Tang, who came into the match having won 22-consecutive matches in team play, came up short against Drexel senior Nico Serna in the opener, 8-11, 11-8, 11-8, 9-11, 11-7. Serna, meanwhile, would lose his next match to eventual National Champion Omar Hafez of Penn.
• The following day, Tang lost an 11-6, 15-13, 12-10 match against Colby's Seif Ashraf in the consolation bracket.
• This was Tang's first appearance at the CSA National Individual Championship.

Osborne Reaches 100
• Eighth-year Navy head coach
Tyler Osborne earned his 100th collegiate victory on Dec. 7 with the 7-2 win over Rochester.
• Osborne, who became the seventh head coach in program history in the summer of 2018, is fourth Navy squash coach to reach the century mark in the wins column, joining Craig Dawson (365-154 / 2001-18), Dave Brown (267-117 / 1982-96) and Art Potter (267-62 / 1951-77).
• Osborne owns a 102-84 (.548) record heading into this week's matches
